The Griffin Police Department is comprised of approximately 100 sworn officers and 11 civilian support personnel. We serve a daytime population of about 100,000 people , roughly 25,000 of those being citizens residing within the incorporated limits of Griffin, GA. The City of Griffin is located in Spalding County, approximately 35 miles south of Atlanta and is surrounded by Henry, Butts, Lamar, Coweta and Fayette counties.
